Dr. Muhammad Muneeb Khan is a respected UK‑based NHS oncologist and the founder of the international charity *Killing Cancer Kindly*. Driven by the goal to reduce the lifetime risk of cancer from 50% to under 5%, he combines compassionate clinical care with education and prevention. Through his charity and books —Dr. Khan empowers patients with evidence‑based guidance and lifestyle strategies to minimize cancer risk and treatment harm.
Dr. Liana Lianov led the development of the first lifestyle medicine core competencies and serves as lead faculty for the American College of Lifestyle Medicine (ACLM) Physician and Health Professional Wellbeing course and chair of the ACLM Happiness Science and Positive Health Committee. She is president and founder of the Global Positive Health Institute (GPHI) and Assistant Professor at the Center for Positive Health Sciences, Royal College of Surgeons Ireland. Dr. Lianov previously held the positions of ACLM president, founding member and vice-chair of the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine, Positive Health and Wellbeing Division president at the International Positive Psychology Association, the American Medical Association Healthy Lifestyles Division director, American College of Preventive Medicine board regent, and public health medical officer at the California Department of Health Care Services. Dr. Lianov has spearheaded the movement to integrate positive psychology into health care, as convener of the inaugural ACLM Summit on Happiness Science in Health Care, editor of the first of its kind handbook for health professionals, Roots of Positive Change, Optimizing Health Care with Positive Psychology. Under her leadership, the GPHI provides innovative positive health training and clinical tools for health professionals.
Dr. David Glass is a seasoned obstetrician and passionate advocate for preventive and lifestyle medicine. After earning his MBChB from UCT in 1975, he spent nearly 13 years at Maluti Adventist Hospital in Lesotho, leading a comprehensive community health initiative that significantly improved maternal and child health outcomes. He later practiced obstetrics and gynecology in Port Shepstone, South Africa, for 28 years.
Dr. Moien Khan is a globally recognized expert in family, lifestyle, and longevity medicine. He serves as Clinical Associate Professor at the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, United Arab Emirates University, and holds national roles as Chief Proctor for External Examinations at the National Institute of Health Specialties (NIHS) and Clinical Review Investigator for the Department of Health, Abu Dhabi.
Denis Pfeiffer is a physician specializing in lifestyle medicine, internal medicine, nutritional medicine, sports medicine, and sleep medicine. As Co-Founder and President of the Lifestyle Medicine Society Switzerland, he is dedicated to advancing evidence-based lifestyle interventions by educating professionals and empowering the public. In his role as Medical Director at the Arlesheim Clinic, he leads Switzerland’s first official department for lifestyle medicine, developing innovative programs for patients with chronic conditions that integrate nutrition, physical activity, mental health, sleep, and harmful substance use.
Stephan is the Executive Director of both the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine (ABLM) and the International Board of Lifestyle Medicine (IBLM). He is a key figure in the field of Lifestyle Medicine, particularly in the areas of certification and standardization of the field globally. He is involved in setting and maintaining standards for lifestyle medicine professionals and promoting evidence-based practices.
A physician graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of Marília, with residencies in Internal Medicine and Cardiology at Unicamp, holds a Cardiology Specialist title from the Brazilian Society of Cardiology (SBC) and a Specialist title in Echocardiography from the Department of Cardiovascular Imaging (DIC/SBC). He has training in Lifestyle Medicine from Harvard Medical School and is certified as a Lifestyle Medicine Specialist by the International Board of Lifestyle Medicine.
Dr. Tollefson is a leader in the field of lifestyle medicine for women. She is board-certified in Lifestyle Medicine as well as Obstetrics and Gynecology.
She is a Professor in the Health Professions Department at Metropolitan State University of Denver, Colorado, where she created and oversees the Lifestyle Medicine Program.
She is also the Lead Faculty for the Blue Zones and American College of Lifestyle Medicine Certification. She serves on the executive board of the non-profit organization PAVING the Path to Wellness.
