Dr. Nizal Sarrafzadegan is a distinguished Iranian cardiologist and public health leader. She is a Professor at Isfahan University of Medical Sciences and Founder of the WHO Collaborating Center for Research and Training in Cardiovascular Diseases. Renowned for leading the Isfahan Healthy Heart Program, she is also an Affiliate Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, School of Population and Public Health, University of British Columbia. Dr. Sarrafzadegan has published over 600 scientific papers focused on prevention, lifestyle medicine, and rehabilitation. Her current interests include precision cardiology, environmental health, and digital medicine, with ongoing service on WHO expert panels.
