Assistant Professor at Aga Khan University’s Faculty of Arts & Sciences, specializing in environmental science and education. A native of Gilgit-Baltistan, she earned her DPhil from the University of Oxford, MS from NUST, and BS from Fatima Jinnah Women University.
Dr. Fozia Parveen is an Assistant Professor at Aga Khan University’s Faculty of Arts & Sciences, specializing in environmental science and education. A native of Gilgit-Baltistan, she earned her DPhil from the University of Oxford, MS from NUST, and BS from Fatima Jinnah Women University. She developed the Climate Change and Environmental Sustainability module and an Environmental & Climate Change Dictionary, widely used in schools and teacher training. Her initiatives include U.S. Mission–funded climate champion programs and mentoring youth-led environmental projects. Her research covers water treatment, microplastics, and climate-smart agriculture, with a strong focus on experiential learning and community engagement.
