
Dr. Nadeem Akbar Khan
Prof. Dr. Muhammad Nadim Akbar Khan is a distinguished academic and clinician with extensive contributions in the fields of chemical pathology and health professional education. Currently, he serves as the Head of the Department of Pathology and as a Professor at Islamic International Medical College. In addition to his leadership roles, he is the Managing Editor of the Journal of Islamic International Medical College (JIIMC) and an active member of the Faculty Development Committee at IIMC.
Dr. Khan is a valued faculty member of the Health Professional Education Program at the College of Physicians and Surgeons, Pakistan, where he also facilitates Supervisory Workshops (EP&EV). He further extends his expertise as a facilitator in Master’s and Certificate programs in Health Professions at Islamic International Medical College, Riphah International University, and Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University, Islamabad.
Dr. Khan earned his MBBS in 1983 from Khyber Medical College, Peshawar. He subsequently obtained a Diploma in Pathology from AFIP in 1991 and achieved MCPS-Clinical Pathology in 1992. His academic journey continued with a fellowship degree (FCPS) in Chemical Pathology from CPSP, Karachi, along with an MCPS in Health Professional Education from the same institution.
With several publications in high-impact journals to his credit, Prof. Dr. Khan has also been a prolific presenter, delivering papers and talks at numerous national and international conferences, and conducting multiple workshops that have contributed significantly to his fields of expertise.
