Dr Zakiuddin Ahmed
Dr. Zakiuddin Ahmed* is a visionary physician leader, strategist, and global expert in Digital Health, Patient Safety, and Healthcare Leadership. He is affiliated with Riphah International University as the Founding Director of the Riphah Institute of Healthcare Improvement and Safety (RIHIS) and Chair of the International Conference on Patient Safety. He also launched the BMJ Open Quality Riphah Pakistan Edition in collaboration with BMJ.
With over 27 years of experience in Digital Health, Dr. Zaki has contributed to the WHO-ITU National eHealth Strategy Toolkit and led the creation of Rah\@H, the world’s first fully integrated connected health model. He serves as Adjunct Professor and Convenor of Digital Health Pakistan.
He is the founder of the Institute of Innovation Leadership in Medicine (IiLM), where he has trained hundreds of healthcare professionals. A certified trainer of “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People”, he also developed the 9 C’s Framework for 21st-century healthcare leadership.
