Professor Dr Uzma Aftab is a senior consultant in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at CMH Rawalpindi. She holds an FCPS in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and a gold medal–awarded MSc in Pain Medicine, with additional training in Lifestyle Medicine and Health Professions Education.
She has authored and co-authored several publications, including research exploring the relationships between smoking, body mass index, menopause, bone mineral density, and fragility fractures. Her special interests include osteoporosis prevention and bone health, chronic pain, cancer rehabilitation, electrodiagnostic medicine, and healthy ageing. She is also actively involved in postgraduate teaching and clinical training.
